Make an immediate impact supporting students as a Special Education Teacher at a high-energy, inclusive high school environment on a contract basis. This full-time, onsite role runs through May 21, 2027, and offers two distinct opportunities for certified SPED professionals: one focusing on Math Resource instruction and another centered on Academic Vocational Life Skills. Both positions take place in a supportive and collaborative high school setting.

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Special Education certification required
• Math certification required for Math Resource position
• Core content certification required for Life Skills instructor
• Demonstrated experience in a comparable special education role at the high school level
• Strong ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Capacity for building meaningful relationships with students and colleagues
• Experience collaborating with classroom teachers, paraprofessionals, and parents to promote student growth
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive classroom culture

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned instruction for special education students in a resource or life skills setting
• Adapt curriculum and teaching strategies to meet individual educational and developmental needs
• Assess student progress and document on IEPs, providing regular updates to families and multidisciplinary teams
• Advocate for students’ success and coordinate support services as needed
• Maintain a safe, structured classroom environment where every learner feels valued and supported
