Make a difference for students by supporting special education programming in a thriving high school environment. Two full-time contract positions are available for experienced Special Education Teachers: one as a Math Resource Teacher and one as an Academic Vocational Life Skills Teacher. Both roles are based onsite and will run through the end of the 2026-2027 academic year.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid SPED teaching certification required for both positions.
• Math Resource Teacher role requires Texas Math teaching certification.
• Academic Vocational Life Skills Teacher must hold SPED certification plus Core Content teaching certification.
• Demonstrated experience working with students in special education settings.
• Deep familiarity with IEPs, differentiation, and collaborative teaching practices.
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to foster an inclusive classroom environment that supports diverse learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans tailored to student needs.
• Deliver engaging instruction in either math or life/vocational skills, depending on the assignment.
• Collaborate closely with campus teams, administrators, and families to promote student progress.
• Track and report student development and achievement data.
• Adapt curriculum and instruction materials to accommodate learning differences and promote student access.
• Participate in campus meetings, professional development, and ongoing program improvement efforts.
