Yoga Instructor- Contractor

The Yoga Instructor will provide structured yoga instruction to all youth residing at RJMCC RTC, supporting physical, emotional, and sensory well-being. This role is ideal for a certified yoga instructor who has experience and/or specialized training in working with individuals with special needs, including autism.

Key Responsibilities

Facilitate age-appropriate and ability-sensitive yoga sessions for youth residents
Teach basic and/or simplified yoga poses tailored to varying physical, sensory, and developmental needs
Instruct participants in relaxation techniques and controlled breathing exercises
Create a calm, supportive, and inclusive environment that promotes engagement and emotional regulation
Adapt instruction as needed to ensure safety, accessibility, and participation for all youth
Collaborate with facility staff to align sessions with therapeutic and behavioral support goals
