As a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator , you will lead and direct the facility's overall operation in accordance with residents’ needs, government regulations the communities’ policies, and procedures. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at  Avantara Milbank by instilling a positive and inclusive facility culture, setting and attaining facility wide goals, creative problem solving and overseeing all aspects of facility operation. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.

Experience and skills Required:

• Leadership and mentoring;

• Development and implementation of a facility management system;

• Administration, management, supervision and coordination of all departments to insure appropriate care;

• Oversight of a facility quality assurance process;

• Financial management of a health care facility;

• Knowledge of pertinent local, state, federal and other regulations and ability to implement and maintain compliance with these regulations governing the facility, patient/resident care, and reimbursement;

• Experience in developing professional relationships and representing the facility in professional and community activities;

• Participation in educational programs for continued professional development.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Management or related field.

• An unencumbered State of  South Dakota Nursing Home Administrator License (LNHA).

• Prior Administrator or Department Director experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility.
