Assembly and Test Inspector , 3rd Shift (Onsite)

Job Summary This is an amazing opportunity for an Assembly and Test Inspector for our Product Delivery Center. Shift & Location 3rd shift, Sunday‑Thursday midnight to 7:00am. Work 6.5hours a night; paid for 8hours. Location: ADR BLDG, ~17900 Beeline Hwy, Jupiter, FL. U.S. citizenship required. Role Type Onsite – employees work primarily on‑site, essential to production and maintenance of our engines. What You Will Do Use a wide variety of power and mechanical tools to perform functional checks on engine assembly and components. Perform dimensional and visual inspections following standardized methods and established techniques. Conduct surface plate work or standard measuring techniques to verify accuracy of parts, tools, gauges, or other equipment. Accept or reject material based on findings, and refer material for rework or quality review as needed. Work from applicable written inspection procedures and engineering drawings. Plan and perform dimensional and/or visual inspections on parts, tools, and equipment based on pertinent instructions. Operate fixed and variable measuring instruments, including automated measuring machines. Check dimensions, record results, and perform necessary mathematical computations to resolve nonconformance. Follow procedures to perform in‑line checks and verifications of dimensions, ensuring operation sheets are followed. Carry out other tasks within the scope and skill level of this job description to support department objectives and develop individual skills. What You Will Learn Skills, systems, and processes critical to aerospace manufacturing within a state‑of‑the‑art facility. Interpretation/Application of technical data to aid in the disassembly and assembly of commercial and military jet engines. Training on forklift, scissor lift, and other powered industrial vehicles. Basic Qualifications High school graduate or GED. 1+ years of formal training in power‑plant mechanics and testing or 1+ years automotive training or experience. Preferred Qualifications A & P license. 4+ years in a similar function. Previous MRO/FAR145 repair station experience. Formal training in power‑plant mechanics and testing. Well‑rounded knowledge of FAA and aviation standards, jet engine design and operation, jet engine hardware and components, instrumentation installations, engine assembly or test stand experience. SAP and Solumina experience. Creative troubleshooting skills. Excellent judgment and professional maturity. Ability to obtain and maintain certifications to operate powered industrial vehicles.
