About the Company

Express Employment is seeking a Rebar Fabricator for a growing steel supply and fabrication company in Eldridge, IA.

This company specializes in providing quality reinforcing steel products for the construction industry. They are looking for dependable, mechanically inclined individuals who enjoy hands-on work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Operate forklifts and overhead cranes to safely transport and stage materials
Operate fabrication equipment to cut, separate, position, and bend reinforcing steel (rebar)
Load and unload rebar material for shear operators and other production processes
Read work orders and ensure materials are prepared according to specifications
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all safety procedures

Required Qualifications

Previous forklift and/or overhead crane experience preferred (1-2 years)
Mechanical aptitude with the ability to learn and operate fabrication equipment
Good math skills and attention to detail
Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment and follow safety protocols
Ability to lift, move, and handle steel materials throughout the shift

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in steel fabrication, metal manufacturing, or construction materials
Experience operating fabrication or industrial machinery
Ability to read measurements and production work orders
Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience
