Actuarial Data SME (P&C Insurance)

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Actuarial Data SME with a strong background in Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance to bridge the gap between Actuarial, Data Engineering, and Product teams. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience supporting actuarial pricing, reserving, data governance, and business analysis, ensuring high-quality data for actuarial models, pricing strategies, and regulatory reporting. Required Skills: 10+ years of experience in P&C Insurance, Actuarial, Data Analytics, or Business Analysis Strong understanding of P&C insurance data, including Policy, Claims, Billing, Exposure, and Rating Variables Experience supporting Actuarial Pricing and/or Reserving initiatives Expertise in gathering, documenting, and validating complex business and data requirements Strong knowledge of Data Quality, Data Governance, Data Lineage, and Critical Data Elements (CDEs) Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams including Actuarial, Product, Data Engineering, and Business Stakeholders Strong SQL and data analysis skills; experience with Snowflake, Databricks, or similar cloud data platforms is a plus Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem‑solving skills Preferred: Familiarity with actuarial data quality standards (e.g., ASOP 23) and regulatory reporting requirements.
