About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead its community-based oncology practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall operation of the practice, excluding direct medical activities, and will play a key role in driving the organization's success. This includes the development and implementation of short- and long-range plans to achieve the company's goals, with a focus on growth, efficiency, cost management, and quality care. The Executive Director will also be tasked with maintaining and fostering relationships with physicians and hospitals, as well as creating a culture that engages employees and promotes a positive patient experience. Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should be accomplished executives with a strong background in healthcare management and operations. The role requires a leader with strategic, operational, and financial experience in a healthcare services business, particularly in areas such as marketing, quality of service, and working with physician partners. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in people management, the ability to drive organizational change, and a deep understanding of complex payer markets. A Bachelor's degree in healthcare management, administration, or a related business field is required, with a preference for an MBA or MHA. A minimum of 7 years' of experience in healthcare management and operations, as well as experience in building relationships with practice physicians, is also necessary.
