The Opportunity

This is a field based position within our Cancer Diagnostics division. The territory is centered around Smyrna and also includes La Vergne, Antioch, Hermitage, and Mt. Juliet - essentially covering the eastern and southeastern suburbs of Nashville.

As a Screening Sales Representative (known internally as Screening Solutions Specialist), you'll play a frontline role in advancing colorectal cancer screening by partnering with healthcare providers to increase adoption of Cologuard® and other diagnostic solutions including Cancerguard . You'll build trusted customer relationships, identify opportunities to improve patient care, and drive business growth through strategic account management, clinical education, and cross-functional collaboration.

What You'll Work On

• Develop and execute strategic territory and account plans to increase awareness, adoption, and utilization of Cologuard while achieving sales objectives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians, healthcare administrators, and other key stakeholders by identifying unmet needs and delivering value-based diagnostic solutions.
• Analyze local healthcare markets, customer data, and account insights to identify opportunities that improve patient outcomes and enhance the system of care.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners including Marketing, Medical Affairs, Screening Advocates, Sales Operations, and Area Managers to implement customer-specific business strategies and maximize account success.
• Accurately document customer interactions, sales activities, market intelligence, and pipeline development within CRM while maintaining the highest ethical, quality, and compliance standards.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Life Sciences, or a related field or four (4) years of relevant professional experience in lieu of a degree.
• Two (2) years of sales, inside sales, or account management experience OR one (1) year of sales experience plus one (1) year of healthcare-related experience OR completion of active-duty military service as a Junior Officer or above.
• Strong verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to build credibility and influence customers.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and relationship-building skills.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record that meets company requirements.
• Ability to travel daily throughout the assigned territory, including occasional overnight travel.
• Ability to meet healthcare facility credentialing requirements, including vaccination or other site-specific requirements where applicable.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

• Two (2) or more years of medical device, diagnostics, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or healthcare sales experience.
• Experience calling on primary care physicians or other healthcare provider customers.
• Demonstrated success in commissioned sales and territory management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms.
• Experience using data and business intelligence tools to guide account planning and sales strategy.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and consultative selling skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

The base pay for this position is

$61,300.00 – $122,700.00

In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
