Option 1:

Three 12-hour shifts | 10:30-23:00

No weekends, holidays, or call requirements.

Option 2:

Four 10-hour shifts | 13:00-23:00

CV Pre-Op/PACU is a fast-paced, specialized outpatient procedural unit providing exceptional perioperative and postoperative care to patients undergoing procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab, Cardiovascular Operating Room, and other advanced cardiovascular procedures.

What You'll Do

In conjunction with the medical plan of care, independently performs systematic and continuous assessment of the physical, emotional, clinical, and psychosocial needs of assigned patients and families; plans and implements appropriate interventions; and evaluates effectiveness and adjusts plan as indicated in a timely manner in the provision of safe and effective care.

Requirements:

• Current Missouri Registered Nurse license or current Registered Nurse license from a compact state. If a compact license is held, it must be in the Nurse's state of residence.
• AHA ACLS within 180 days.
• AHA BLS for healthcare providers within 30 days.
• Cardiovascular Disease CEU hours - 8 per year annually by transcript due date.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification within 180 days.
• Perioperative RN competency day annually by transcript due date.
• Stroke CEU hours - 4 per year annually by transcript due date.
