Administering Treatments: Provide urgent medical treatments, including performing necessary surgical procedures. Stabilization: Ensure patients are stabilized before further treatment or transfer to other medical departments. Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, such as nurses, paramedics, and specialists, to ensure comprehensive patient care. Diagnostic Tests: Interpret various diagnostic tests. Communication: Communicate effectively with patients and their families about diagnoses, prognoses, and treatment plans. Record Keeping: Document and maintain detailed records of patients’ visits, diagnoses, treatments, and outcomes. Professional Development: Stay updated with advancements in emergency medicine and participate in ongoing professional development activities. Performance KPI Quality KPIs: prioritize patient experience and clinical outcomes, each metric tied to a specific goal. Throughput KPIs: evaluate operational efficiency, specifically the speed and smoothness of patient flow in the facility.
