Job Description:
- Position : L&D RN (Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse)
- Shift : Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)
- Orientation : Non-Billable Orientation - 0 Hours
- Experience Required : Minimum of 2 years in charge experience
- Patient Ratios : AWHONN standard ratios
- Floater Requirement : Will float between units as needed
- On-Call : Yes, for low census only
- Weekend Requirements : Every other weekend
- Special Requirements :
- Must have AWHONN Advanced and Intermediate certifications
- Current BLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications needed
- Experience with Level I Nursery and baby-friendly protocols
- Facility Type : Short Term Acute Care with a total of 108 staff beds
- Scrub Colors : Any color for RN/Allied; scrubs provided for specific departments

Unit Highlights :
- Patient Care : Care for Neonates, Infants, and Adults
- Daily Census : Capacity of 4 patients
- Room Capacity : 10 rooms with 8 beds
- Facilities : Two operating rooms designated for Cesarean Sections, with a surgical tech on unit
- Patient Diagnoses :
- Antepartum, Intrapartum, Postpartum, GYN, and Nursery
- Offers Level 1 Maternity and Newborn services

Additional Information :
- Interdisciplinary Support : Includes Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Social Services, and more
- Call Requirement : May be placed on-call due to low census
- Pre-Approved Time Off : One time-off request approved
- Traveling Nurses : Might be expected to float between nearby facilities

Submission Requirements :
- Minimum one year of experience and a valid compact state license required at the time of submission
- Candidates must respond to inquires regarding prior work at this facility
- Two references covering one year of experience are mandatory
