About the Position

Job Title:  Registered Nurse (RN) | Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma
Location:  Rochester, NY
Duration:  13 Weeks with Guaranteed Hours
Shift:  Nights – 4 days x 12 hours
Rotation:  No
Float:  Yes – may float within ER/Trauma or related emergency care units based on hospital needs
Work Settings:  Hospital – Emergency Room / Trauma Unit
Gross Weekly Pay:  $2,800 to $3,000 per week (Local candidates may qualify for taxable hourly W2 pay depending on facility policy)

Job Description:
Provide emergency nursing care to patients with acute illnesses, injuries, and trauma cases in a fast-paced hospital setting. Assess patients quickly, administer medications/treatments, assist with emergency procedures, and coordinate care with physicians and trauma teams. Maintain accurate charting while ensuring high-quality patient care during critical situations

Requirements

• Active RN License (New York State or Compact if applicable)
• Minimum 1–2 years of recent ER / Trauma RN experience required
• BLS Certification (AHA) required
• ACLS Certification required
• NIHSS Certification required
• PALS and TNCC required
• Experience with emergency triage and trauma response
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
• Experience with EMR/charting systems
