Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma care for a 13-week travel assignment in Rochester, NY. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality emergency nursing care in a fast-paced trauma environment while collaborating with physicians and healthcare teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the Emergency Department.
• Provide immediate and effective treatment for trauma and emergency patients.
• Monitor patient conditions and document changes accurately.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Operate and monitor emergency medical equipment.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions.

Requirements

• Active RN License (New York State)
• Minimum 1–2 years of recent ER/Trauma nursing experience
• Current Certifications:   ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS , TNCC
• Ability to work night shifts and handle high-acuity cases
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
