Franjo Restoration located in Baldwin, PA is looking for a PRODUCTION ASSISTANT to provide the managerial and leadership skills necessary to manage the day-to-day matters of a self-performed workforce, as well as management, with the assistance of the Production Manager, of all field personnel and project Owners. The Production Assistant is responsible for coordinating and executing all self-performed work, complete understanding of all contract documents, safety requirements and schedule. We are looking to add a PRODUCTION ASSISTANT to our growing team!ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Primary On-Call first responderPart of On-Call rotationCustomer relationsProduction LaborFinal ProductSchedulingCost CodePayrollVendorsMaterialsVehicles - MaintenanceMaintenance InspectionAccident reporting to Production ManagerFieldHiring/firing with Production Manager approvalField Employee Reviews90 day - New EmployeesYearlyProject AcceptanceScope review with Estimator/Project ManagerReview manhour budgetReview scheduleOversee project documentsJob costVendor invoicesDaily progressManage Subcontractors with Production Manager reviewEquipment / tool maintenanceProject completionFinal walk throughPunchlist acknowledgement and completionCertificate of satisfactionDaily work scheduleField staff scheduleCustomer contact and updateSite injuriesReport to Production ManagerP & L bi-weekly reviewOversee WarehousemanSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY / COMMUNICATION SKILLS:Strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills.Directly supervises all field employees and subcontractors attached to assigned projects.Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.Understands project control, sequencing of work and the strategy of creating effective project schedules.Responsible for documenting, planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance, code of conduct, and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.Must maintain constant communication with all company departments affiliated with their respective projects; including, but not limited to, Project Management and Estimating.Responsible for verifying that all work is completed in a workmanlike manner.Oversees that all company field employees conduct and present themselves in a professional demeanor; including, but not limited to, presentable/proper work attire, conduct their daily activities in a professional manner.Provides timely and cordial interaction with supporting work groups, such as Accounting, Estimating, Human Resources, etc. This position manages all employees associated with Emergency Services and is responsible for the performance management and hiring of the employees within the Emergency Services department.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY / COMMUNICATION SKILLS:Strong leadership, organizational, and time management skillsCarries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Understands project control, change order management, and the sequencing of work and the strategy of creating effective project schedulesResponsible for documenting, planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance, code of conduct, and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.Must maintain constant communication with all company departments affiliated with their respective projects; including, but not limited to, General Manager, Project Management and Estimating.Responsible for verifying that all work is installed in a workmanlike manner (i.e. level, straight, etc.)Oversees that all company field employees conduct and present themselves in a professional demeanor; including, but not limited to, presentable/proper work attire and conducting daily activities in a professional manner.
