Your ImpactThe Quality Assurance Supervisor is primarily responsible for supervising a high performing team responsible for inventory counts, handling damages and performing audits. This role ensures that the correct quantity and quality of product gets to the customer by monitoring the products and the accuracy of the facility's processes. In addition, this role creates and monitors the facility shrink budget, cataloging gains and losses. This role also organizes an inventory cycle count bi-annually for the facility.What You Will DoComplies with safety requirements and builds a culture of safety among subordinates and peersAssists associates with HR related issues including questions/concerns with attendance, pay, benefits, job changes, voluntary terminations, I-9 verification, unemployment claims, and workplace accommodationsCommunicates clear expectations for associates and provides timely and constructive feedbackMonitors and manages associate performance, ensuring that associates are executing assigned tasks accurately and as scheduledMentors and builds relationships with associates, recording planned encounters when needed, and completing annual reviewsHolds associates in department accountable to expected behaviors and performance levelsOrganizes bi-annual warehouse inventory count eventMonitors the shrink budget that identifies gains and losses of inventory dollars (weekly holding account) and communicates with Corporate as neededReports to upper management and Corporate damages that have occurred in-house over a certain thresholdAssists associates with any issues with product that arises (e.g., free astray product)Audits processes across the facility to ensure correct process is being utilized by Operational and Support associates; record inaccuracies and report to Operational and Support SupervisorsCreates and documents training for associatesAssists Damage Coordinator in the resolution and recording of damaged and salvaged productTrains Operations associates to perform cycle counts for bi-annual inventory count of warehousePerforms or assist associates in performing receiving packet auditsVerifies scheduled and maintenance cycle counts are being completed within the scheduled period to maintain facility inventory integrityConducts BDC inventory process annuallyWorks to resolve Operational discrepancies during receiving, picking, moving of product through facility; utilizes the Missing Carton process and additional researchResolves and monitors cancelled picks, LTSU’s, hand keys and returned DTC ordersManages inventory and systematically processes any company donations to non-profit organizationsCommunicates effectively with associates regarding business objectives or current issuesProvides associates with meaningful developmental opportunities and prepares them for upward promotion if interestedDiscusses and resolves issues with and between associatesParticipates in the hiring process by initiating job requisitions when appropriate and interviewing prospective candidatesEnsures associates receive proper trainingMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree Supply Chain Management, Transportation, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement, if applicable4 years of experience in distribution center/warehouse operations or related areaPreferred Skills/EducationExperience managing multiple projects/tasks simultaneously requiring a strong ability to prioritize and manage timeLeadership experience with direct report responsibilityExperience using troubleshooting processes to resolve problemsExperience mentoring and coaching othersExperience with software applications such as Excel, Access or Lowe’s DMS systemAbout Lowe'sLowe’s Companies, Inc.
