• We own the strategic vision and roadmap for all products in scope, ensuring alignment with business strategy, enterprise transformation efforts, and technology standards.
• We lead delivery of high-quality, timely solutions, including new and enhanced systems and technologies.
• We oversee end-to-end technology capabilities, including solution architecture, software engineering, test automation, performance engineering, DevSecOps, and production support.
• We partner with business stakeholders, IT leaders, and vendors to identify opportunities to improve customer experience and business processes through technology.
• We develop business cases and financial analyses for new technologies, systems, and applications based on strategic priorities and available resources.
• We define and enforce standards, policies, and best practices across software development, testing, and performance engineering.

• We participate in vendor and strategic partner evaluations and manage ongoing relationships.
• We own and manage the department budget, including P&L forecasting, operating and capital spend, contract negotiations, and invoice processing.
• We build, lead, and develop high-performing teams through hiring, performance management, and employee development.
• We provide leadership across multiple teams and agile phases to execute work plans and meet software development, maintenance, and innovation goals.
• We own underwriting platforms end to end as long-lived products, supporting the full lifecycle from submission and pricing through validation, issuance, and ongoing enhancements.
• We balance greenfield development with modernization of existing Property systems while partnering with underwriting, product, and operations to drive measurable business outcomes.

The position is incentive eligible, with a base salary range of $155,000 to $280,000 per year.
