Cardiovascular Operating Room TechnicianUnit Notes Due to our volumes we can't keep a CST busy 100% of the time with cardiac or vascular cases. We are looking for techs that can do other specialties when they are not in the CVOR; Ortho, general, ENT, urology etc Radius Rule: 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.Fingernail policy: Artificial nails are prohibited in all departments providing patient care- refusal to remove nails will lead to termination of contract Driver's license required at submittal and will be used to determine if candidate is outside 50 miles.• Unit CVOR# of Suites 11Average # of cases per day 18Required Certifications (i.e., BLS, ACLS?) BLSCommon Cases: CABG, Vascular, LungsExperience or 'Must have' skills: Handing open heart procedures, working in a general ORIs scrubbing required for RNs? NoIs there a manager/Charge Nurse on each shift? Does the charge nurse take an assignment? A Manager and Charge daily, no room assignmentOR techs? YesEMR EpicShifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?) 8s or 10s beginning at 0700 M-F, same schedule week to week.
