My client, one of the most established consumer products manufacturers in the Cleveland market, is looking to hire a Finance Accounting Manager to lead their finance function and shape how the business makes decisions. This is a hands-on leadership role, not a back-office processing seat. You'll have direct access to the executive team, a voice in how the company prices its products, and a team of your own to build and develop. If you've been ready to move from "closing the books" to "shaping the business," this is that shift. The person who steps into this role will be trusted with real ownership over financial strategy, not just financial reporting. Responsibilities Set pricing strategy for new and existing product lines, using margin data to decide what the business charges and why Sit at the table with sales, marketing, and the executive team as the financial voice behind major business decisions Build the financial models and forecasts leadership uses to plan the year ahead, not just report on the one behind them Recruit, coach, and grow a team of accounting professionals who look to you for direction Build the dashboards and scorecards that keep executives, department managers, and the board aligned on what matters Serve as the face of the company during the annual audit, managing the external auditor relationship from planning through sign-off Dig into what's actually driving margin by customer, brand, and product line, and flag where the business is leaving money on the table Translate the numbers into a story leadership can act on, framing risk and opportunity in plain business terms Own the monthly close and keep the books current, accurate, and audit-ready all year round Must-Have Skills Proven experience leading and developing a finance or accounting team within a manufacturing or product-based business Strong background in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and product pricing strategy Advanced Excel skills combined with experience using business intelligence tools and enterprise resource planning systems Nice-to-Have Skills CPA and/or MBA Experience with multi-entity or multi-currency consolidation History partnering directly with sales, marketing, or executive leadership on financial decision-making #J-18808-Ljbffr
