About the Position

Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Long Term Care – Wisconsin

Start Date: November 9, 2026

Location: Wisconsin

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Day shift, 8-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM, with every other weekend rotation and some holidays. Patient ratio 1:20 with one RN per hall and med tech support per hall. CNA support available at 1:8-10 on days.

• 66-bed long term care facility with 60-bed daily census serving adult and geriatric populations
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, pharmacy, radiology, social services, and more
• Bedside Shift Reporting (BSSR), AIDET communication framework, and hourly rounding protocols in place
• Caring for diverse patient needs including dementia, memory care, diabetes management, wound care, and post-surgical rehabilitation
• Free onsite parking available
• Floating to other units as needed may be required

Requirements:

• Active Wisconsin RN license or compact state licensure
• BLS certification (American Heart Association only)
• Minimum 1 year of long term care (LTAC) experience required
• Minimum 2 years of acute care experience within the last 3 years preferred
• Charge nurse experience preferred
• Must pass telemetry competency exam with strict passing criteria prior to start
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccine not required
• Must reside 50 miles or more from the facility
