Clinical Supervisor – Outpatient Mental Health Services Hybrid | Issaquah, WA Salary Range: $30.00-$37.50 Hourly Schedule: Full-time, hybrid Primary Location: Issaquah, with potential support across Friends of Youth’s Duvall and North Bend locations Union Status: Non-Union Make an Impact as a Clinical Supervisor Friends of Youth is seeking a compassionate and experienced Clinical Supervisor – Outpatient Mental Health Services to support a team of Therapists providing behavioral health services to youth, young adults, and families. In this hybrid leadership role, the Clinical Supervisor will provide clinical and administrative supervision, support staff development, maintain a small clinical caseload, and help ensure services are responsive, culturally informed, and consistent with professional and regulatory standards. What You’ll Do Clinical Supervision and Team Leadership Provide consistent clinical and administrative supervision to Therapists. Facilitate weekly individual and team supervision meetings. Support Therapists with crisis response, intervention planning, and complex clinical situations. Observe clinical sessions and provide constructive coaching and feedback. Review caseloads regularly and support equitable assignment and maintenance of appropriate caseload levels. Support the recruitment, interviewing, selection, onboarding, training, supervision, and evaluation of Therapists and Interns. Partner with the Clinical Manager and Human Resources to address employee performance concerns when needed. Promote a collaborative, supportive, and accountable team environment. Clinical Quality and Compliance Ensure clinical documentation meets applicable Washington Administrative Code, Medicaid, King County, Council on Accreditation, and organizational requirements. Support the delivery of high-quality, culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and client-centered services. Help ensure clinical practices remain consistent with state law, professional ethics, contractual requirements, and current standards of care. Participate in performance and quality improvement activities. Support the development and implementation of clinical procedures, group curricula, and service-delivery improvements. Direct Clinical Services Maintain a small caseload and provide outpatient clinical services to youth, young adults, and families. Provide assessment, treatment planning, counseling, crisis intervention, and care coordination within the scope of the position. Maintain timely, accurate, and complete clinical documentation. Community Partnership Develop and maintain positive working relationships with community partners and referral sources. Maintain knowledge of King County resources and services that may support clients and families. Collaborate effectively with internal departments, external providers, schools, community organizations, and other professionals. What You’ll Bring Required Qualifications Master’s degree in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, psychology, or another related human-services field. Active Washington State license as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT. Meets the requirements to serve as a Washington State Approved Supervisor. At least one year of supervisory, lead, or management experience. At least three years of relevant behavioral health experience working with youth, young adults, or families. Experience providing clinical supervision, consultation, or staff development. Knowledge of trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, clinical documentation, and professional ethics. Strong written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn electronic health record and reporting systems. Preferred Qualifications Experience supervising licensed clinicians, associate-level clinicians, or interns. Experience providing outpatient behavioral health services. Experience working within Medicaid-funded or publicly funded behavioral health programs. Familiarity with King County behavioral health requirements. Experience with quality improvement, accreditation, audits, or regulatory compliance. Experience using Microsoft 365 tools, including Power Platform applications. Additional Requirements Successfully pass all required criminal history and background checks. Successfully complete a tuberculosis screening. Maintain reliable transportation and a valid Washington State driver’s license or obtain one by the date of employment. Maintain a driving record and automobile insurance that meet Friends of Youth requirements when operating a personal or organizational vehicle for work. Complete required CPR, First Aid, and Bloodborne Pathogens certifications within 30 days of employment. Meet all applicable organizational health and vaccination requirements.
