Technical & Scientific Materials Sales Representative

Help improve next-generation AI systems by applying your B2B sales expertise in technical and scientific materials. This remote contract role focuses on turning complex product capabilities into clear business value for technical and non-technical buyers. Key Responsibilities

• Identify and prospect B2B leads using research and outreach strategies suited to technical and scientific materials markets.
• Qualify prospects by assessing their needs, budget, decision-making authority, and level of interest.
• Communicate technical value propositions clearly and persuasively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Create and deliver tailored written and verbal presentations that translate technical features into practical business benefits.
• Address objections and concerns with factual, benefits-focused responses grounded in industry knowledge.
• Document prospect interactions, feedback, and insights to support project improvements.
• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to refine messaging using market feedback.
• Provide high-quality, concise, actionable feedback that supports project development and AI model training.

• Demonstrated success in B2B sales within the technical or scientific materials sector.
• Experience prospecting and qualifying B2B leads.
• Strong understanding of technical products, materials, and their applications across industries.
• Ability to explain technical concepts and value propositions to non-technical audiences in writing and verbally.
• Expertise in objection handling and negotiation within a consultative sales approach.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms and digital prospecting tools used in B2B environments.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate prospect potential and adapt engagement strategies.

• $45 to $85 per hour.
