Participate in governance committees and contribute to continuous improvement of data governance processes.Provide training and support to business users on data governance tools and practices. Perform any other duties as required to ensure Health Plan operations and department business needs are successful. Qualifications Education & RequirementMinimum of four (4) years of experience in data governance, data quality, or data management within the healthcare industryHands-on experience working with Medicaid, Medicare, or other managed care programs also required Experience with data governance tools (e.g., Collibra, Informatica, Alation, Azure Purview) is preferred.Experience in the areas of medical or health services preferredBachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Information Systems, Data Management, or a related fieldIn lieu of the required degree, a minimum of four (4) years of additional relevant work experience is required for this position. This experience is in addition to the minimum years listed in the Experience Requirements above.Key Qualifications Strong understanding of data governance principles and healthcare data management best practicesKnowledge of data modeling, metadata management, and master data management conceptsFamiliarity with healthcare data standards (e.g., HL7, ICD-10, CPT) and regulatory frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, CMS)Strong analysis and critical thinking skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent communication and collaboration skills to work with clinical, operational, and technical stakeholdersProficiency in data profiling, data quality assessment, and root cause analysisProficiency in SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, etc.) is requiredAbility to multi-task while maintaining careful attention-to-detailAbility to handle multiple projects, data input, and strong problem-solving capabilityIndependent self-starter who is driven to success, takes great pride in accomplishments and works with a sense of urgency to meet deadlines and address competing prioritiesDetail-oriented with strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilitiesStart your journey towards a thriving future with IEHP and apply TODAY!
