Centrifugal Compressor Mechanic / Rotating Equipment Specialist Louisiana | Contract Opportunity We are currently seeking an experienced Centrifugal Compressor Mechanic for projects in Louisiana. If your background is rooted in heavy industrial environments (such as Refining, LNG, Petrochemical, or Offshore Operations) and you excel at precision mechanical work, we want to connect with you. Qualifications: Experience with BCL, BCL2, and MCL centrifugal compressors Strong troubleshooting, maintenance, overhaul, and repair experience Experience with rotating equipment and turbomachinery Field service experience preferred Laser alignment experience is a plus TWIC Card preferred Must be authorized to work in the United States Candidates with experience on Dresser Rand / Siemens Energy compressor platforms are highly encouraged to apply. What the Role Entails: Hands‑on Expertise: Disassembling, inspecting, repairing, and reassembling centrifugal compressors and high-speed rotating components. Precision Mechanics: Deep knowledge of critical clearances, bearing fits, journal bearings, and advanced mechanical seal applications. Alignment & Standards: Utilizing laser alignment and interpreting technical QA/OEM standards to bring equipment back to exact specifications. Safety & Quality: Commitment to strict safety protocols, work permit procedures, and high-quality documentation standards. Interested?
