Duties
The duties include:
- Reviewing various inspections of community rental property to determine adequacy, habitability, and suitability as a listing for referral.
- Evaluating management of the Rental Partnership Program and Utility Deposit Waiver Program.
- Studying area ordinances and regulations governing community life and recommending new ordinances, regulations, or amendments for improvement of housing administrative policies.
- Analyzing and preparing statistical data for a variety of reports.
- Assisting in Basic Allowance for Housing (BAH) data collection and reports submission.
- Assisting in development of overall installation plans and procedures for barracks sustainment, to include restoration, modernization, and/or replacement projects.
- Maintaining/monitoring the enterprise Military Housing (eMH) database.
- Evaluating management, maintenance, and operating costs of project finances (to include furniture and appliances), development, and construction.
- Arbitrating resident issues not resolved by the local landlord and/or Residential Communities Initiative Community Manager and making determinations on exceptions for residents, tenant commanders, developer partner, and other interested parties.
- Advising chain-of-command on all aspects of the installation housing program, and submitting necessary reports, briefings, etc.
- Serving as the Contracting Officer Representative (COR), responsible for day-to-day management of contracts supporting housing functions as required or appointed.
