Medical Assistant - Behavioral Health/Detox Facility

Location: Chicago, IL
Schedule: 24-40 Hours Per Week
Shifts Available:

4:00 p.m. - 12:30 a.m.
12:00 a.m. - 8:30 a.m.

We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join a growing team in Chicago. This position offers flexible scheduling with 24-40 hours per week and the opportunity to work in a fast-paced behavioral health and detox setting.

Requirements:

Active Medical Assistant certification preferred
Strong phlebotomy and venipuncture skills are required
Experience in Behavioral Health or Detox is a plus
Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and patient care skills

Responsibilities:

Perform venipuncture and specimen collection
Obtain vital signs and complete patient intake
Assist with patient care and clinical procedures
Document accurately in the electronic medical record
Support nursing and clinical staff while maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment
