Typical Duties and Responsibilities
- Inspect and maintain machinery and equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform repairs as needed.
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment according to schedules.
- Document maintenance activities and repairs for compliance and tracking.
- Collaborate with other maintenance staff to complete projects and repairs.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols.
- Assist in the installation of new equipment and machinery.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Proficient in the use of hand and power tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a maintenance environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends as needed.
