Program Manager

Compensation: Based on experience, salary ranges from $78,000 to $92,000 per year; hourly rates range from $37.50 to $44.23. Plus, healthcare options. (See the Compensation & Benefits section on Page 3 for more details.) Reports to: Director of Operations Los Cien Sonoma County is the premier Latino leadership organization of the Northern Bay Area. As a membership-based nonprofit, we serve as a trusted liaison and facilitator between the Latinx community and the wider community — creating space for relevant dialogue, common understanding, and collaborative action. Through civic engagement, educational programming, and charitable initiatives, Los Cien develops and supports current and future leaders to foster belonging, trust, equity, and opportunity across Sonoma County. Position Summary Los Cien Sonoma County is seeking an experienced, highly organized, and mission-driven Program Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of the BRIDGE Program, luncheon programs and signature events. This is a senior operational role responsible for managing complex program logistics, leading community-facing events, supporting leadership development initiatives, and coordinating across staff, Board committees, volunteers, and community partners. The Program Manager plays a critical role in ensuring that Los Cien’s programs are inclusive, high-quality, and aligned with organizational values and strategic goals. The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter with strong project management skills, cultural competence, and the ability to represent Los Cien professionally in the community. Responsibilities and Duties BRIDGE Program Management Manage day-to-day operations of the BRIDGE Program, Los Cien’s leadership and governance development initiative. Coordinate participant recruitment, application processes, onboarding, and cohort communications. Serve as the primary liaison for BRIDGE fellows, facilitators, mentors, and guest speakers. Coordinate logistics for BRIDGE sessions, orientations, networking mixers, and graduation activities. Support curriculum delivery and continuous improvement through participant feedback and evaluation. Maintain accurate and confidential program records, attendance data, and evaluation materials. Assist with BRIDGE Program budgeting, scholarship administration, and reporting requirements. Support outreach and relationship-building with nonprofit, civic, and community partners connected to board service and leadership development. Contribute to impact reporting, storytelling, and grant-related documentation related to BRIDGE outcomes. Program & Event Management Plan, manage, and execute Los Cien’s annual program and events calendar, including: Luncheon Programs, Puente y Ganas Awards, and State of the Latino Community Address Lead event logistics, including coordination with speakers, facilitators, performers, venues, caterers, AV vendors, and other service providers. Develop and manage event timelines, run-of-show documents, and logistical plans. Ensure all programs and events are accessible and inclusive, including Spanish-language interpretation, translation services, and disability accommodations. Provide support in program and event budgets in coordination with the Executive Director; monitor expenses and ensure fiscal accountability. Track sponsorship fulfillment, ticket sales, and post-event reconciliation. Source, negotiate, and manage vendor and supplier relationships. Support promotion of programs and events through coordination with communications staff, volunteers, and Board committees. Recruit, train, and coordinate volunteers for events and programs. Troubleshoot and resolve issues during events to ensure smooth execution. Analyze program and event outcomes and prepare reports with recommendations for improvement. Administrative & Organizational Support Support general office operations in collaboration with staff and volunteers. Translate documents and communications into Spanish, as requested. Attend in-person and/or virtual Board and Committee meetings when requested. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience. Demonstrated experience managing multiple programs, projects, or events simultaneously. Strong organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Canva, and email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp, Constant Contact and AI platforms. Proficiency with social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment. Reliable transportation and ability to travel locally for events and meetings. Preferred Qualifications Bilingual (fluent) English and Spanish strongly preferred. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and ensure accuracy and follow-through. Experience in nonprofit program management, leadership development, or governance-related initiatives. Experience coordinating complex, community-facing events with multiple stakeholders. Strong relationship-building skills with Board members, volunteers, and community partners. Experience representing an organization publicly in a professional capacity. Strong alignment with Los Cien’s mission, values, and community-centered approach.
