Production Worker, Temp - Pre-Assembly

Operate machinery used in the production process or assist machine operators Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards Observe equipment operations, detect malfunctions, and notify operators Lift raw materials, finished products, and packed items manually or using hoists Count finished products to determine whether orders are complete Mark or tag identification on parts Load and unload items from machines, conveyors, and conveyances Supply or hold materials and tools for production workers Clean work areas, equipment, doors, and frame components Clean and lubricate equipment Record the number of products inspected and production dates and times Perform other assigned tasks at the direction of supervision Requirements High school diploma or GED certificate and/or industrial experience Mechanical ability Ability to read various dimensional metrology instruments Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, and quality control Experience or ability with forklifts, power hoists, hand jacks, pipe jacks, platform ladders, Phillips and straight screwdrivers, material-hoisting slings, measuring tapes, hand tools, measuring instruments, and power tools such as saws Knowledge of mechanical machines, paint systems, and assembly operations Ability to work in normal manufacturing-environment conditions Core Competencies Demonstrates mechanical ability and knowledge of production processes, quality control, and equipment operation. Proficient in using various tools and machinery to ensure efficient production and adherence to quality standards.
