Johns Hopkins Regional Physicians (JHRP) was created to support community providers delivering health care in locations convenient to patients. JHRP providers and patients benefit from Johns Hopkins Medicine's (JHM) renowned faculty, practices and technological infrastructure. Participating practices receive quality and other oversight by the Johns Hopkins Health System. We provide a framework of centralized services that physicians need to deliver the best care to patients in their own communities.

Summary:

This is a clinical staff position with responsibility for specified echocardiography duties within the medical practice of Cardiovascular Specialists of Central Maryland.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma required. College degree desirable, preferably in a clinical discipline.
• Graduation from an accredited echocardiography program, or graduate degree in nursing (RN) with additional training in echocardiography, required.
• Minimum of 4-7 years demonstrated competence in performing adult cardiac echocardiography through combination of clinical training program and/or experience in a reputable non-invasive echocardiography laboratory, including but not limited to knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology, cardiac imaging of all standard planes and views, basic physics of ultrasound, and basic echocardiographic measurement.
• RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) or RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer) certification required.

Salary Range: Minimum $45.00/hour - Maximum $50.00/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
