What You'll Do

• Operate dozers, excavators, and other heavy equipment

• Perform grading, trenching, excavation, and earthmoving tasks

• Maintain proper site grades and compaction standards

• Move materials safely and efficiently across job sites

• Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs

• Cross-train on loaders, compactors, tractors, and dump trucks

• Follow all safety regulations, PPE requirements, and site procedures

✅ What We're Looking For

• 1+ year of heavy equipment, farm, or construction equipment experience

• Experience operating equipment such as:

• Dozers

• Excavators

• Loaders

• Tractors

• Compactors

• Dump Trucks

• Understanding of grading, excavation, and earthmoving practices

• Valid driver's license

• Strong work ethic and commitment to safety

• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and sit for extended periods

• Landfill construction experience

• Road construction or site development experience

• Environmental remediation experience

• Heavy equipment certifications

• Precision grading experience

• Ability to operate multiple types of equipment

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Morrisonville, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
