Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Job Location: Frostburg, Maryland Job Type: Full-Time Company Name: Mountain City Rehab Center Organization Name: Mountain City Rehab Center Job Summary: We are seeking a positive, caring Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at the Mountain City Rehab Center, a beautiful 99-bed skilled nursing facility in Frostburg, Maryland. As an LPN, you will provide high-quality direct care to our residents, under the supervision of our Nurse Manager and DON. You will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal resident outcomes. Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications, treatments, and monitoring vital signs Assist with the development, implementation, and evaluation of individualized care plans Document resident status, treatments, and responses in accordance with facility policy and state/federal regulations Monitor residents for changes in condition and report promptly to the RN or physician Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, residents, and families to ensure optimal resident outcomes Supervise and support Geriatric Nursing Assistants (GNAs) in the delivery of care Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for residents Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and HIPAA policies Participate in quality assurance activities and staff meetings Fulfills the role of charge nurse when assigned Requirements Current and valid LPN license in the state of Maryland or Multistate Graduation from an accredited Practical Nursing program CPR/BLS certification (or willing to obtain upon hire) Prior experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility preferred but not required Strong clinical skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment Compassionate, patient-focused, and committed to quality care Why Work for Us Competitive pay Health, dental, vision, and life insurance Paid time off 401(k) with employer match Supportive and team-oriented work environment Benefits Competitive pay ($30 - $35 HOURLY) Opportunity to work in a beautiful and inspiring environment Comprehensive senior care services, including 24/7 skilled nursing care, memory care, respite care, hospice care, rehabilitation, and more #J-18808-Ljbffr Mountain City Rehab Center
