Schedule: Full time, in office, five days per week
A well-established, growing marketing and communications agency is seeking an Advertising & Marketing Director to lead client relationships, develop marketing strategies, and guide a talented advertising team. This is a visible leadership role for someone who earns clients’ trust, solves problems, and turns sound strategy into effective campaigns.
The right person can move comfortably between a client presentation, a team planning session, and a review of campaign performance. They understand digital marketing in depth, use AI thoughtfully to improve the work, and know that strong judgment and relationships remain essential.

What you’ll do

• Serve as a senior point of contact for advertising and marketing clients, building relationships and taking ownership of challenges and opportunities.
• Develop integrated marketing plans, campaign strategies, budgets, proposals, and persuasive client presentations.
• Lead the planning, launch, and ongoing management of digital advertising campaigns, including Google and Meta.
• Review performance data, identify what is working, and recommend clear, practical improvements.
• Manage, coach, and coordinate advertising staff while working closely with a smart, experienced team across the agency.
• Help maintain high standards for strategy, execution, responsiveness, and client service.
• Participate in business development, including pitches, proposals, and opportunities to grow existing accounts.
• Has CRM or HubSpot experience

What you bring

• Significant experience in advertising or marketing, ideally in an agency or other client-facing environment.
• Strong knowledge of digital advertising, including Google Ads, Meta advertising, targeting, measurement, and campaign optimization.
• A demonstrated ability to develop marketing plans and present recommendations confidently to clients and senior decision-makers.
• Experience leading staff, managing competing priorities, and keeping complex work moving.
• Strategic thinking, sound business judgment, and the ability to solve problems without losing sight of the client relationship.
• Strong writing, communication, and presentation skills.
• Experience using AI tools effectively and responsibly as part of the marketing process.
• Google certifications and relevant Meta or other industry credentials are valued assets.
This position leads the advertising and marketing side of the agency. It offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact, grow into a more senior title, and earn commissions through business development.
