Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Pending License accepted Certifications: BCLS, ACLS, EKG exam Must-Have: EPIC experience required Description: Seeking a Registered Nurse in the Medical Surgical specialty. The position involves providing care for adult and geriatric patients. Ratios are expected to be 1:3-5. The role requires the interpretation and management of dysrhythmias. Clinician will float within the service line to meet facility needs. Weekend coverage is required every other week. The candidate must have experience with acute care medicine, including conditions such as acute renal failure, pneumonia, and COPD. Key skills necessary include BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, and central line blood draws. Proficiency in EPIC charting system is mandatory. The candidate must be able to perform patient assessments, administer medications, and manage IVs. Experience in wound care and the management of feeding tubes is also required. Unit is supported by various interdisciplinary teams including pharmacy and physical therapy. Appropriate personal protective equipment and isolation precautions must be followed.
