Description - What You'll Do

• Conduct both routine and sophisticated clinical laboratory examinations across various disciplines-chemistry, hematology, immunology, and beyond-following established protocols with precision.
• Review results for accuracy, manage troubleshooting of errors, and carry out preventive maintenance and calibration on laboratory instruments.
• Assist in sample collection and preparation for analysis as necessary.
• Thoroughly document all processes, provide training to new team members or students, and help maintain quality standards in the lab environment.
• Ensure a safe, clean workspace and adhere to all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a closely related allied health degree with readiness for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• Obtain ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of hire.
• Maintain ongoing certification throughout employment.
