Description - Your Role in the Lab

• Conduct both routine and specialized clinical laboratory tests, including chemistry, hematology, and immunology, following clearly defined protocols.
• Interpret results with keen attention, troubleshoot discrepancies, and carry out required maintenance and standardization on laboratory equipment.
• Assist with collecting specimens and preparing samples for subsequent testing when necessary.
• Maintain thorough documentation of all procedures, facilitate the training of new staff or interns, and ensure adherence to lab quality standards.
• Uphold a clean and safe workspace while conforming to all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an allied health degree coupled with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) is to be achieved within your first year of employment.
• Ongoing maintenance of current certification is mandatory throughout your tenure.
