• Experience with scrubbing and panning simultaneously
• Comfortable with general IR cases
• Preferred experience with charging/coding for procedures

Description:

This position involves working in a department staffed 24/7. The unit manages all adult patients with no pediatric cases. General interventional radiology procedures include kyphoplasty, vertebroplasty, central line placements, and more. Neuro interventional radiology cases involve strokes and embolizations. An average of 40-50 patients are seen daily. Support staff includes two coordinators and lead techs, with two or three techs per exam room based on case involvement. Respiratory therapy and hospitalist support are available 24/7. Equipment used includes Siemens and GE, with experience preferred. EMR experience with EPIC is preferred. The schedule includes weekday on-call shifts and weekend rotation. Response time for on-call duties is expected to be within 30 minutes. Holiday expectations may involve being on call. Up to 7 days of RTO can be approved. Shift times may be flexible based on department needs. Scrub colors are provided.
