Maintenance Planner

The Maintenance Planner/Scheduler partners closely with Maintenance, Operations, and Production teams to coordinate maintenance activities in alignment with production requirements while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance are maintained. Responsibilities Plan, prioritize, and schedule maintenance work orders for equipment, facilities, and utilities Collaborate with Supervisors, Leads, and Technicians to define labor requirements, materials, tools, and contractor support needed to complete work Align maintenance activities with production schedules, shutdown periods, and operational priorities to minimize disruption Develop, maintain, and continuously improve preventive and predictive maintenance schedules Track maintenance performance metrics and support KPI reporting and analysis Ensure all maintenance work is completed in compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements Coordinate scheduling of outside contractors and service providers as required Monitor spare parts availability and support inventory planning and control Maintain accurate and timely records of maintenance activities within CMMS/EAM systems Support troubleshooting efforts through organization and review of technical data and equipment history Qualifications High school diploma or GED required 2–3 years of experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, or industrial maintenance environment Experience in a manufacturing or production environment required Strong communication and coordination skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills This position is located in South Carolina and will require relocation #J-18808-Ljbffr
