Job Responsibilities
- Craft Tailored Treatment Approaches: Identify the unique needs of patients and devise personalized therapy plans to facilitate their journey toward achieving functional independence
- Implement Therapeutic Interventions: Employ evidence-based methodologies to bolster patients' motor skills, cognitive function, and ability to perform daily activities
- Engage with Interdisciplinary Teams: Collaborate intimately with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive, whole-person care
- Guide Patients and Caregivers: Provide education for patients and their families on therapeutic techniques to ensure continued progress in everyday environments
- Track and Document Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes meticulously, adjusting treatment plans when necessary to keep patients on their path to recovery
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institute
- Encouragement for continuing education or post-graduate certifications supported
- Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
- NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required
- A deep-seated passion for helping people achieve their highest level of independence
- Empathetic and effective communication with patients and team members
