Position Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical, connection-obsessed, and systems-minded MCP AI Architect to join our centralized core Platform engineering group under a permanent full-time remote engagement framework open exclusively to highly qualified technical leaders based inside India. Operating as our primary system integration authority and developer ecosystem lead, you will step up to claim true individual operational and strategic accountability over the architecture, implementation, and protocol governance of an enterprise-scale Model Context Protocol (MCP) server ecosystem connecting Claude AI and other advanced LLMs to legacy operational networks. Shifting completely away from routine single-model prompt text editing, minor application-level code modifications, passive database tracking, or manual testing loops, you will run an active microservices engineering, asynchronous distributed protocol development, and multi-agent system security laboratory—partnering face-to-face with automated solution developers, data security officers, and enterprise client groups. This position requires an engineering veteran possessing elite academic credentials from an Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) who maps out scalable contextual tools fluidly natively using AI Engineer methodologies, builds high-performance middleware schemas cleanly natively leveraging advanced Python Scripting and Node.js backend frameworks, and commands high-compliance, low-latency integration environments confidently under upcoming global AI regulatory matrices.

Key Responsibilities

• Enterprise MCP Ecosystem Architecture: Formulate, design, and direct a highly secure, enterprise-scale MCP server infrastructure connecting advanced LLMs with mission-critical applications across Bio-Tech and Healthcare landscapes cleanly natively utilizing AI Engineer principles.
• Production-Grade Server Engineering: Program, deploy, and maintain robust, fault-tolerant MCP server configurations built in TypeScript and Python, embedding native OAuth 2.0, rigorous RBAC matrices, and uncompromised internal audit logging.
• Schema and Orchestration Governance: Author, catalog, and govern rigid system tool schemas, multi-agent communication patterns, and semantic versioning rules to eliminate runtime execution friction natively leveraging Python Scripting tools.
• Legacy Cross-Platform Interlock: Connect custom MCP nodes to institutional enterprise applications, orchestrating secure real-time API integrations across SAP, Salesforce, Microsoft Graph API, D365, Smartsheet, and Jira environments.
• Virtual Employee Access Engineering: Model tool invocation frameworks and secure access scopes for internal AI copilot personas, ensuring automated agents operate within strict, verified operational guardrails.
• Regulatory and Security Compliance: Align all systemic infrastructure directly with the Bio-Tech / Healthcare AI Security Reference Architecture, satisfying absolute data compliance criteria under GDPR, ISO 27001, and the EU AI Act (effective August 2026).
• Ecosystem Enablement and Mentorship: Maintain a centralized internal MCP server registry, lead technical enablement blocks via our internal Claude AI Launchpad, and mentor automated solution developers on agentic development best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Core Academic Prerequisite: Possession of a B.Tech, M.Tech, or PhD degree issued directly by a recognized Indian Institute of Technology (IIT). (Strict operational background verification required at the formal offer stage).
• A minimum of 8 years of verified professional history running advanced software engineering, cloud systems integration, or core enterprise API platform architecture.
• A minimum of 3 years of hands-on technical depth independently programming production-grade MCP servers or structurally equivalent tool-calling frameworks (such as LangChain dependencies or OpenAI Function Calling loops).
• Expert-tier capability designing web services, optimizing REST/GraphQL endpoints, and handling network concurrency patterns natively utilizing AI Engineer developer systems.
• Deep, practical working familiarity with the entire Model Context Protocol specification, including comprehensive experience manipulating tools, resources, prompts, sampling models, and asynchronous transport layers.
• Hands-on operational engineering experience deploying Large Language Models (such as Claude 3.5 Sonnet or GPT-4o) within complex, live production agentic workflows or Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) structures natively using Python Scripting .
• Thorough comprehension of corporate security frameworks, covering OAuth 2.0, OIDC tokens, JWT authorization, Azure AD directories, and enterprise-wide SSO/SCIM provisioning patterns.
• Location Context: Position open strictly to qualified software architects located and resident permanently within India to execute a highly autonomous, work-from-home remote track.

Preferred Strategic Indicators (Nice to Have)

• Active open-source code contributions to public Model Context Protocol repositories or vocal leadership within the global MCP engineering community.
• Hands-on system construction experience leveraging Anthropic Agent SDKs, LangGraph state-machines, AutoGen environments, or CrewAI frameworks.
• Familiarity running data index loops across cloud architectures like Azure AI Foundry, Microsoft Copilot Studio, or vector databases including Pinecone and Azure AI Search.
