Clinic Manager – Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Clinic Job Type: Full-time Your Experience Matters At Willamette Valley Medical Center. How You’ll Contribute Manages the daily operations of the assigned department or function to ensure alignment with departmental and organizational objectives. Assists with developing specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization. Manages staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict management. Performs and oversees scheduling, staff development, recruitment, payroll, and student engagements. Monitors departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts, and vendor relations. Determines and justifies needs for systems, equipment, and supplies purchases, monitors usage, and oversees proper working order and/or stock supplies. Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth. Ensures department stays focused on its important role in the continuum of care. Maintains regular and reliable attendance. Serves both internal co-workers and external customers, clients, patients, contractors, and vendors. Accesses and/or works with sensitive and/or confidential information. Shows a comprehensive understanding of healthcare regulatory and compliance (e.g., HIPAA). Is skilled in the application of policies and procedures. Has knowledge of Business Office Standards and Recommended Practices. Manages the work of others, including planning, assigning, scheduling, and reviewing work, ensuring quality standards. Is responsible for hiring, terminating, training, and developing staff; reviewing performance and administering corrective action for staff. Other duties as requested.
