This includes but is not limited to processes for granting privileges, clinical competency assessments, peer reviews and due process for removal of clinical privileges. Provides clinical direction and overall supervision of care delivered by Unit's Interdisciplinary Team consistent with ACA, completion of physical/psychiatric evaluations, DX, and treatment.Minimum QualificationsMedical doctor with a Virginia licenseGraduation from an accredited medical schoolConsiderable active medical treatment and management experienceStrong diagnostic and treatment planning skillsStrong management and supervisory skillsStrong interpersonal skills and communication skillsAbility to work cooperatively with the nursing department and the allied health professionals in partnership with the Healthcare AdministratorPossess a Certified Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) is required upon hireAbility to complete the Virginia Ethics Council Conflict of Interest (COI) filing within two (2) business days of hire and annually thereafter, in accordance with the Code of Virginia § 2.2-3100.
