Position Overview

We are seeking dedicated team members to join a specialized overflow unit task force. This role is set to commence at the end of September, with the objective of having the team fully operational by October.

Responsibilities

Provide patient care across a diversely skilled team floating between two campuses.
Support various adult health units ranging from Observation to Intermediate Care Units (IMC).
Assist in expanded spaces within Emergency Departments (EDs) and Post Anesthesia Care Units (PACUs) for adult health patients with inpatient orders.
Adapt to different clinical environments and shift demands based on patient care needs.

Facilities Information

The Resource Float Pool engages across two campuses:

Tucson, AZ: A 600+ bed Level I Trauma center with approximately 16 Adult Health units.
South, AZ: A 200+ bed Level III Trauma center featuring 4-5 Adult Health units, located about a 10-minute drive from Tucson.

Qualifications

Previous travel experience in healthcare is required.
Ability to float to any designated unit during the contract period.
