This contract opportunity is based within an established school’s "Ready, Set, Launch" program—designed for learners with autism and varying developmental needs. The role offers the chance to help shape individualized educational experiences within a collaborative team of educators, focusing on growth, engagement, and student success.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current Minnesota Tier 3 or Tier 4 Special Education Teaching license (required).
• Experience or strong interest in working with elementary-aged students with autism spectrum disorders and developmental disabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt instruction, create engaging learning environments, and manage classroom behaviors positively.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction to students within the Ready, Set, Launch program, aligning educational goals with individual needs.
• Implement effective behavior management strategies and work closely with related services staff.
• Develop and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), ensuring compliance and advocacy for each student.
• Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom that celebrates diverse abilities and strengths.
• Engage regularly with families and colleagues to review student progress and adjust interventions as needed.
