education: High School responsibilities:
- Develop complete 3D mechanical designs and drawings using SolidWorks for custom equipment, fixtures, tooling, and manufacturing systems.
- Manage BOMs, part specifications, and revisions within SolidWorks PDM while specifying standard hardware and commercial components.
- Interface with procurement and external suppliers to specify, quote, and source mechanical parts and fabricated equipment.
- Perform hands-on prototype assembly, fit-up, and troubleshooting (50% of role) to test design intent and refine equipment performance.
- Collaborate in design reviews with cross-functional teams and vendors to resolve technical issues and deliver production-ready systems.
