Registered Nurse (RN) - Cath Lab

Registered Nurse – Cardiology

Day Shift - 5 x 8s, Monday to Friday. Start times are either 7am or 8am. On-call requirement includes 2 days a week and 1-2 weekends per month.

Assignment Details

Minimum 5 years of experience required. Must have experience with EPIC, and knowledge of cath lab procedures, including structural heart, vascular, diagnostic, impella, ECMO, and emergent cath cases.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice is required
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor is required
• AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification is required
• Acute care facility experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for patients or assigned patient groups according to established nursing standards
• Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
• Coordinate care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking and professional judgment
• Promote a safe and therapeutic environment for patients
