Facilities Manager

About the Role The position directly supports the Assistant General Manager and General Manager with comprehensive facility responsibilities, focusing on operational excellence, client satisfaction, and effective vendor management. Key Responsibilities Assist with budgetary requests, analysis, reporting, and supporting facility-specific cost savings targets Receive and dispatch work requests to technical staff, vendors, and service providers Resolve building service issues including janitorial, parking, vending, elevators and conference rooms Coordinate and schedule maintenance activities while overseeing delivery of repair services Interface with property occupants and provide support for guests, visitors, and employees Develop monthly/quarterly variance reporting on operating budgets for each property Source local services and goods through third-party suppliers, including contract writing and vendor setup Manage existing contracts and coordinate with vendors on performance criteria and reviews Collaborate with sourcing teams on national and regional supplier opportunities Requirements Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in facilities or property management 2+ years of facilities or property management experience in a corporate environment, third‑party service provider, or as a consultant Proven record of client service with ability to establish credibility with clients, facilities teams, vendors, and contractors Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, and management skills Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook) After‑hours, on‑call availability for emergencies Preferred Knowledge of commercial real estate, building operations and systems, accounting, project management, and vendor management Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) Compensation 110,000.00 - 135,000.00 USD per year Location On‑site – Jersey City, NJ Visa & Sponsorship This position does not provide visa sponsorship.
