Head of PR

We’re hiring a Senior PR Manager / Head of PR to lead global communications across the Pure portfolio: PureVPN (consumer privacy), PureSquare (digital trust), and Secure.com (AI-native enterprise cybersecurity). This is a high-impact, portfolio-level role. You will own the narrative across B2C and B2B cybersecurity, shaping how our products, leadership, and category position show up globally, from consumer privacy to enterprise security. This role is measured by tier-1 coverage, clear positioning, and category relevance, not volume. What You’ll Own: Define and execute a unified PR strategy across all brands Position across privacy, cybersecurity, and AI-native security Turn product, research, and roadmap into compelling media narratives Media & Analyst Relations Build and own relationships with tier-1 global media Secure consistent, high-quality coverage (not volume-led) Drive engagement with analysts and specialist security media Position executives as credible industry voices Positioning & Thought Leadership Develop distinct, ownable narratives in a crowded market Lead opinion pieces, data stories, and security insights Move messaging beyond generic “AI/security vendor” language Product PR & Launches Lead comms for launches, releases, and partnerships Align PR with product readiness and proof points Reputation & Crisis Own issues management and crisis communications Develop frameworks for security, trust, and regulatory topics Act as a trusted advisor to leadership Agency & Performance Manage PR agencies across regions Set and track KPIs: tier-1 coverage, SOV, sentiment Ensure PR is impact-driven and measurable What We’re Looking For: Experience 8–12+ years in PR / Communications Background in cybersecurity, privacy, or enterprise tech Experience across both B2B and B2C PR Capabilities Strong media instincts = knows what makes a story land Can translate complex security topics into clear narratives Experience running global PR programs Comfortable in fast-paced, high-growth environments Mindset Operator mindset = owns outcomes, not just execution High bar for story quality and differentiation Confident pushing back when narratives aren’t strong Balances strategy with hands‑on delivery Success Looks Like Consistent presence in top-tier business and cybersecurity conversations Clear, differentiated narratives across brands Product moments translate into real media impact Leadership recognized as credible industry voices PR drives trust, not just visibility Why This Role Own PR across a full cybersecurity stack (consumer and enterprise) Shape category positioning, not just follow it Work directly with leadership on high-impact narratives Operate at the level of top global cybersecurity brands Hook Own the narrative across privacy, trust, and security – from millions of consumers to global enterprises. #J-18808-Ljbffr Disrupt.com
