This role is designed for a seasoned consulting leader with deep program leadership expertise, strong business development capabilities, and a technology-enabled transformation mindset.The Senior Manager will lead large, complex transformation programs and portfolios, serve as a trusted advisor to executive clients, and play a key role in growing West Monroe's operations and supply chain transformation capabilities. This individual will be responsible for driving client outcomes, developing teams, and contributing to practice growth through solution development and market-facing activities.ResponsibilitiesClient Leadership & Delivery (Primary Focus)Serve as the executive delivery lead for complex, multi-workstream transformation programs and strategic initiativesLead enterprise PMO functions across large-scale engagements, including:
Program governance and executive steering committeesIntegrated planning and dependency managementRisk, issue, and decision managementExecutive communications and reportingBenefits realization and value trackingOversee multiple engagement teams and workstreams, ensuring alignment across business, operations, and technology stakeholdersServe as a trusted advisor to Director, VP, and C-suite executivesLead technology-enabled transformation initiatives, including operating model, process, and systems changesDrive supply chain and operational transformation initiatives spanning planning, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, fulfillment, and distributionTranslate strategic objectives into executable roadmaps and measurable business outcomesEnsure adherence to quality, risk management, and delivery excellence standardsAct as the escalation point for complex client challenges and critical program decisionsBusiness DevelopmentLead pursuit teams and contribute to revenue growth through new and expanded client relationshipsDevelop and present proposals, statements of work, and transformation roadmapsIdentify opportunities within existing client accounts and expand West Monroe's footprint through trusted advisor relationshipsShape and sell large-scale transformation programs, PMO engagements, and operational improvement initiativesSupport account planning and strategic relationship development within key Consumer & Industrial Products clientsContribute thought leadership and market insights to support practice growth and brand awarenessPractice LeadershipLead, coach, and mentor Managers, Consultants, and Senior ConsultantsServe as a Career Advisor and support talent development across the practiceContribute to practice strategy, capability development, and service offering refinementDrive development of PMO methodologies, delivery frameworks, tools, and best practicesSupport recruiting, onboarding, and retention initiativesFoster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and delivery excellence across the teamQualificationsBachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred10+ years of consulting, program leadership, or transformation experienceProven experience leading large-scale, multi-workstream transformation programs and PMOsDemonstrated success managing executive-level client relationships and influencing senior stakeholdersExperience leading cross-functional teams across business, operations, and technology organizationsStrong understanding of supply chain and operational processes, including planning, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and fulfillmentExperience overseeing engagement financials, including budgeting, forecasting, revenue management, and profitabilityTrack record of contributing to business development, account growth, and proposal developmentExperience within consumer products, retail, manufacturing, distribution, or industrial sectors preferredExcellent organizational, verbal and written communication skillsStrong analytical, problem solving, and quality assurance experienceStrong communication skills to be able to work with C-level clientsA commitment to inclusion and diversity, and openness to new ideas and perspectivesAbility to travel 30–50%Based on pay transparency guidelines, the salary range for this role can vary based on your proximity to one of our West Monroe offices (see table below). Individual salaries are determined by evaluating a variety of factors including geography, experience, skills, education, and internal equity.Employees (and their families) are covered by medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance.
