Quality Control Director – Texas

Location: Edinburg, TX

Position Type: Campaign Position / Full-time

Schedule: Full-time, including evenings and weekends

We are hiring a Quality Control Director to ensure the integrity and accuracy of all voter contact data collected by our field operation in Edinburg, TX. The QC Director designs and implements quality control protocols, audits canvasser performance, and works closely with the Field Director to maintain high data standards throughout the program.

This is a full-time role requiring exceptional attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to deliver constructive feedback. The QC Director is critical to ensuring our operation meets compliance requirements and campaign goals. This role receives program training and, for voter registration programs, completes the county Volunteer Deputy Registrar appointment process before beginning field work.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality control protocols for voter contact and registration data.

• Conduct daily audits of canvasser data submissions for accuracy and completeness.

• Perform callback verification on a sample of voter contacts to confirm authenticity.

• Identify patterns of data errors or potential falsification and flag for follow-up.

• Work with Field Director and Deputy Field Directors to address performance issues.

• Train Field Organizers and canvassers on data quality standards and best practices.

• Generate daily and weekly QC reports for campaign leadership.

• Maintain documentation of QC findings and corrective actions.

• Ensure compliance with all voter contact, registration, and data collection regulations.

• Perform other duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.

• Experience in data quality, compliance, or field operations on a campaign or organizing program.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Proficiency with VAN/VoteBuilder; ability to run reports and analyze data.

• Experience conducting callback verification or audits preferred.

• Excellent communication skills for delivering feedback constructively.

• Integrity and discretion in handling sensitive performance issues.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

• Able to work long and irregular hours, including nights and weekends.

Requirements

• Must be eligible to work in the United States.

• Must have a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.

• Must have a working smartphone with access to apps.

• Must be available full-time, including evenings and weekends.

• Must complete required program training before beginning field work.

• Willingness to be based in Edinburg, TX for duration of program.

• Must be able to meet Texas Volunteer Deputy Registrar eligibility requirements (for VR programs), including:

◦ Be at least 18 years old.

◦ Be a United States citizen.

◦ Be a resident of the State of Texas.

◦ Not have been determined by a final judgment of a court exercising probate jurisdiction to be totally mentally incapacitated, or partially mentally incapacitated without the right to vote.

◦ Never have been convicted of failing to deliver a voter registration application to a voter registrar.

◦ Not have been finally convicted of a felony, or, if convicted, must have fully discharged the sentence — including any term of incarceration, parole, or supervision, or completed a period of probation ordered by any court — or been pardoned or otherwise released from the resulting disability to vote.

◦ Not have been finally convicted of identity theft under Section 32.51 of the Texas Penal Code.
